Quick answers for microphone access, rituals, purchases, archives, and privacy.

Curse It for iPhoneResponse target: 2 business days

Curse It ignores silence and clips that are too short to count as a meaningful burst. Check microphone permission in iPhone Settings, speak for more than a brief tap, or switch to text input. A failed recording does not spend a session credit.

Open the purchase screen and choose Restore purchases. Permanent Ritual Scene purchases can be restored with the same Apple Account. Consumable session credits are handled under Apple's purchase rules and may not restore like a permanent unlock.

Purchases are processed by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with the Apple Account used for the purchase, and follow Apple's refund flow.

No. Raw audio and verbatim transcripts are not stored in the Curse It database. Audio must be transmitted to the configured speech service for transcription and scoring, then it is discarded from the app service. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Only if you choose to save after a ritual, the Archive can keep structured details such as category, intensity, duration, effects, Ritual Room, an optional private alias, and what you said you needed next. It does not keep raw audio or a verbatim transcript.

Open the Archive to delete one saved item or clear all saved items. You can also follow the steps on our Data Deletion page. Curse It does not require a public profile or social account.

No. Curse It is an entertainment and general-wellbeing experience. It does not diagnose, treat, or replace professional help. If you may act on thoughts of harming yourself or someone else, stop using the app and contact local emergency services or a qualified crisis service now.
